TRAVEL

Traveling to Ghana as an LSU Global Ambassador allowed me to engage with local communities, experience their traditions firsthand, and gain a deeper understanding of how culture influences the built environment. From historic landmarks to everyday spaces, I saw how design serves as both a reflection of heritage and a tool for progress. Similarly, my time in China as a representative of the United States and Louisiana at the Global Youth Conference provided a platform to connect with leaders from diverse backgrounds. Through discussions on global development, cultural preservation, and innovation, I gained valuable insights into how architecture and design can bridge communities and create meaningful, inclusive spaces. These international experiences have reinforced my belief that design is not just about aesthetics but about storytelling, history, and connection. By integrating cultural narratives into the built environment, I strive to create spaces that honor the past while shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
